stretchy and comfy denim, however does fit very short and if you have a booty be prepared for it to be popping out. The design is super cute I will say though I am disappointed that the heart pockets aren't functional, I'm returning it and getting the baby phat skirt with the rhinestone cat instead but this one is still nice
